Welcome to the Bangladesh Journal of Forest Science (BJFS)! Our journal is dedicated to advancing the understanding and practice of forest science within the context of Bangladesh and beyond. BJFS serves as a platform for researchers, academicians, practitioners, and enthusiasts to contribute to the broader understanding of forest ecosystems, management, conservation, and sustainable development.

Aim

Scope

BJFS welcomes original research papers, review articles, commentaries, and editorials that cover a wide range of topics within the realm of forest science, including but not limited to:

  • Forest Ecology and Biodiversity: Studies on the interactions among flora, fauna, and their environment, as well as the assessment of biodiversity and ecosystem services in forested landscapes.
  • Forest Management and Silviculture: Research on sustainable forest management practices, silvicultural techniques, and the optimization of forest resources for multiple benefits.
  • Climate Change and Forest Resilience: Investigations into the impacts of climate change on forest ecosystems, adaptation strategies, and the role of forests in carbon sequestration and climate mitigation.
  • Forest Policy and Governance: Analysis of policies, regulations, and governance mechanisms affecting forest conservation, land use, and community engagement.
