The forests of Bangladesh consist of
three major vegetation types occurring on
three distinctly different geomorphological
units : (i) the Tidal Swamps, consisting of mangrove forests (ii) the High Terraces,
consisting of deciduous forests and (iii)
the Tertiary Hills, consisting of mixed
